China HZG Series Direct Heating Rotary Drum Dryer - Suppliers & Factory for Hard Ferrite, Cement, and Metallurgy Applications
Waste heat air or heat exchange air enters the rotary dryer and directly exchanges heat and mass with wet sludge in the channel. It is equipped with a special crushing device (specially designed structure) to quickly evaporate the water in the sludge. The smaller sludge particles are discharged from the dryer and collected together with the gas through the outer channel, while the larger sludge particles stay in the dryer for a longer time until drying is completed. Partial exhaust gas is extracted and treated by a deodorizer to meet atmospheric emission standards (or cooled by water foam dust removal) before being discharged into the atmosphere.
- To prevent material blockage, a scraper is welded to the drum to form a moving blade, and most of the material is forcibly stirred and sent away by a spiral guide plate, ensuring a smooth feeding process.
- The drum is designed with different inclinations based on the material's condition to ensure smoother discharge.
- The machine has a simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance, and can achieve continuous large-scale production. It can also comprehensively utilize waste gas operations.
- Install exhaust gas collection and treatment devices according to different requirements.
- According to the characteristics and status of the sludge drying process, different dispersion and crushing devices are used in sections to greatly improve the drying efficiency.
- Using special sealing materials to ensure sealing effect and greatly improve service life.
- The bearing adopts a cooling device to reduce the operating temperature of the bearing and extend its service life.
- Indirect heating can be used to reduce exhaust air volume and improve heat utilization efficiency.
- Adopt different sheet cutting forms according to different states of materials to reduce the degree of bonding.
- Adopt different feeding methods based on material characteristics to prevent blockage of the feed.

The dryer utilizes waste heat or heat exchange air directly in the channel alongside a specialized crushing device. This design rapidly evaporates moisture, allowing smaller dried particles to discharge while larger particles remain until fully processed.
To prevent blockages, a scraper is welded to the drum to create a moving blade. Additionally, a spiral guide plate forcibly stirs and moves the material, and feeding methods are customized based on specific material characteristics.
The system is designed to handle sludge with a primary moisture content of 80% and dry it down to a final moisture content of 40%.
Exhaust gas is collected and processed through a deodorizer or cooled with a water foam dust removal system to ensure it meets atmospheric emission standards before release.
The bearings are equipped with a cooling device that lowers their operating temperature, thereby reducing wear and extending their operational lifetime.
The series offers models ranging from the ø1500x12000 (with a 50 t/d feeding capacity) up to the ø2800x20000 (with a 200 t/d feeding capacity) to suit different production requirements.
